ARC provides ambitious SHAPE researchers (Social science, Humanities and the Arts for People and the Economy) with a 4-stage programme, the ARC Pathway, to transform innovative research into ventures that can deliver impact at scale. Researchers will join a cohort of like-minded individuals looking to grow and sustain the impact from their research by bringing an idea to market.

We offer:

• Up to £62,000 at 80% fEC (£50,000 from UKRI) from the SHAPE Catalyst programme
• A virtual training bootcamp, led by industry experts, to develop key entrepreneurial skills
• Specialised, sector-specific training
• Access to experienced entrepreneurs, investors and networks
• Dedicated mentorship support to help validate your idea, develop the business model and support your pitch for further funding or investment
• 1:1 pitch practice and coaching 
• Lifelong support of alumni and events to network and support the growth of your venture
